The material to be cut is hard, soft, friable or delicate in nature
A
good surface is required, with minimum surface damage
Cutting losses should be minimized
The cut surfaces require high flatness and/or parallelism
The annular
blade is produced from thin stainless steel and is held under tension in
a precision chuck. Due to the blade’s extreme thinness and rigidity in
the radial direction, annular cutting produces the best surface finishes
(leading to time and cost savings in consequent processing), the lowest
material losses, the thinnest slices and cuts of the highest
parallelism.
